The Mountain

I can see you rising,Sing Hallelujah,

I can see the fire fall

down, down, down,

I can hear you whisper “Come to the mountain”,

My soul cries out,

“Lord, I am coming”,

To my knees I fall

Down, down, down,

I see your Glory in

The Light of Day,

I can feel the Spirit

Fall when I pray// Luke9

A Never Ending Well

Stop forcing things. Stop calculating things. Trust in His peace.  God has called you into peace. Into an abundance of joy. Seek His face first. Stop questioning His voice. He is alive and living in you. Around you. He is relevant. He is calling you out in this journey of growth. Say yes. His way is the best way. Rest in it. His greatness surrounds you like the atmosphere. His love spoils you, calls you sons and daughters. Like an only child. Love. Full of love. Light. The brightest shine. He calls you to the creek, where the water flows. To a never ending well, that makes you well. Lifts your head. Rests your tired eyes. He is the strength of the day. He sees you. Where you stand. When you kneel. Calls you out. Pulls you in. All eyes on you. The lover of your existence.

Joy.

Peace.

Life.

Love.

Hope.

Faith.

Raw.

Truth.

He is Father.

Press into Me. Run into Me. Don’t turn away. Don’t fall away. Follow my voice. Come into My voice. Don’t look to the right or to the left. Call on Me, keep coming. Keep running. I am The Well, I never run dry.

Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.

1 Chronicles 16:11

Where The Stream Flows

If you want honesty Lord, you have it. I give it to you. I hand it over. Frustrations. Pains. Expectations. The hurt, the fear. I want you, God. Replace these things with You. I don’t want to be known for what I’m scared of. I don’t want to turn my back on those who can’t do anything for me. I don’t want to be distracted by those who interrupt my worship. In a room full of people I want my focus to remain on only You. I want these walls surrounding me to crumble down at the sound of Your call. I want these knees to grow weak as You come closer to me. I won’t worry about yesterday. I won’t think about tomorrow. For You are now. Sing over me, Lord. Let your rain fall down on me. Wash me clean, again. Replace my heart for Yours. I want to drink from Your stream. Start fresh again.

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Even On The Dirt Road

I see you with a clear view. You are never far from me, though you may feel lost on a dirt road at times. I directed your steps right where you are. As you walk your dirt road don’t let the fear and anxieties of being lost overcome you. Praise Me for the quiet. In the quiet there are no distractions. An opportunity to seek Me deeper. Praise Me for the beauty in the wilderness. Notice the way the trees sway peacefully and remember the peace I have given you. A gift I have freely given you. As you rest in that you may begin to walk this dirt road with a lighter heart. You stop focusing on being lost and focus on the beauty of where I have you, now. As you begin to soak in your surroundings you may begin to pour out your thankfulness. As you empty out, then I can begin to fill you once again.

Jesus knows my name. He sees me. He loves me. He holds me close. He meets me every time. He dances with me in the open fields. He calls me to the stream where the lion drinks. I am safe there. I am bold there. I receive there and praise there. I never grow thirsty, I never grow tired. He calls me Beloved, He calls me child. He calls me by name.//

I know your name. I know your worst day so I made you an even better one to rejoice in. Don’t be afraid, hold on. Don’t fall away, push on. I will sustain you in the valley low. I will call out to you from the mountain tops. I am The Lord your God. I am your Father, your daddy, your papa. You are my beautiful one, my only child. I spoil you with an everlasting love. I cleanse you with the most expensive perfumes. Come you sons of Zion, raise up your swords. Come you daughters of Eve, take up your cross. Follow me into the Promise Land. Follow me to the well of Living Water. Drink from my cup. Break with me my bread.

This is my promise to you: if you walk with me through the desert dry, through the death of old self, you will dance with me in the House of God forever and ever, amen.

The Lord is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He’ll take great delight in you; with His love He will be silent and make no mention of past sin or even recall them. He will rejoice over you with singing.

Love Is Our Anthem

Bad days will come, like a shock to the system. But His joy will overcome. It will devour the darkness and bring the sleeping heart back to life. He gives life. Raising of hands. Singing songs. Old hymns. He is old and He is new. Big and small. He is life. God does not play around with His overwhelming blessings. They are enough to shatter the soul and bring us back to life again in a newer, fuller way. Oh sweet joy of The Lord. Fill us up. Sing over us like love is our anthem.

Trust in The Lord and do good, dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Take delight in The Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37

You See Us.

God sees us all the time. Daily. 24 hours. Never taking away His gaze. Even when we feel alone. Even when silence seems deafening. But as we mature we learn to become more aware of our senses. More aware of His presence, amidst the silence. In a quiet field He shows up as the wind sways the trees. When the sun warms your face. When the birds sing their song. When a friend speaks to your soul. And we can breathe that in and accept His all around presence. He is magnified when we glorify his subtle touch. He will never leave us on our own. The next time you feel caught in silence and confusion look around at His creation. God we acknowledge Your presence.

You are the God who sees me.

I have now seen the One who sees me.
